I seem to be updateing every other week lol...
Anyway, in the past two weeks this is what's happened:
Got a B on my hanging mobile project. Apparently I was too symmetrical, and I think the Prof was in a bad mood that week... odd. Also got a B on my drawing project because I was not imaginative enough. Oh well. It is what it is.
The more interesting updates are a series of events... Last weekend I came down with a cold that caused me to miss two days of work and was the reason I didn't get enough time to work on my project, which is why I got a B. I was upset that Dave wasn't allowed to come over Sunday afternoon and take care of me while I was sick, but I got to see him Monday, because I was feeling better. We ate lunch together ^_^ Tuesday, he came down with a completely different cold, so we didn't get together at all Tuesday. Wednesday I went over to his house after class to bring him the new Halo game I picked up for him. He was happy ^_^ Only got to stay for 2 hours cause his parents left for church. Tuesday, I was going to go over to his house for a few hours, but I was on my way and my car died... so dead. Dad had to come jump me off and then I followed him home as he drove my car. It ran great after that lol. Anyway, Thursday I had to pick up the kids after school. Friday I had work, so I had to pick them up at someone's house in Opelika. It was late, and we were on our way home, and I got pulled over for the first time in my life because one of my headlights was out. I cried lol. After the cop left, of course, I had to maintain some dignity. He let me off with a warning and told me to get that light fixed. Ok... My parents are out of town all weekend... I'd have to do it myself or something. Shouldn't be too hard, thoguh. Saturday we washed my car and I did homework all day. I was weeks behind in drawing. Bleh. Never got around to going to the autoparts store, though. Sunday I dropped the kids off at their church and I went to Lakeview and got presented as a member to the congregation ^_^ I'm a member now lol. Then picked the kids up and went to Wal Mart to get them to replace my headlight. Took 40 minutes because they had to take the battery out. So, I noticed my car had been runnign a little rough that day, so I decided to go the back way home so I wouldn't stall at any stops. The only bad thing was... I had to make a left turn onto a major highway... I stalled. By the grace of God, I think it was the 6th try that restarted my car AND there was an opening in traffic, so I zipped out and drove all the way home, praying the whole way. Now I need to go make sure my engine actually does have oil. I checked yesterday and it did... Then I have 4 more drawings to do before tomorrow morning.
Next week:
Tomorrow I'm meeting Dave after work for dinner ^_^ Then starting Tuesday night I'm spending the whole week at Daewen's house because her parents are going to be out of town and they don't like leaving her alone. So... that'll be nice ^_^
Anyway... life goes on, no matter what surprises it throws at you.
Off to check my oil...

Been a while, lots happens in a short amount of time now...
I've turned in two designs to 3D Design. A wire model of a shoe, which got an A, and a schulpture made out of cardboard stars. Will post pictures when I get them back. The stars one also got an A,
I've got a bike so that I can get to my classes on time.
I've got a laptop so I can make sure I have my work with me no matter what comes up.
I've got a portfolio to carry my art work in.
I got a 92 on my first World History test.
I just had an Art History quiz, but don't knwo what I got on it.
I have a drawing project due Mondya of the interior of a room, real or imagned. I'm making a composite of a room that exists in Biggin Hall, with mental modifications to make it a warmer atmosphere. Biggin is so cold and hard and grey... I also have basic sketchbook work due Monday too. 4 room interiors and tw oversions of my face. blah.
I have to make a story board and type a second draft for Eng Comp.
I have to make a hanging mobile for 3D design, no idea how to carry it around with me... I'm making it out of a hula hoop and embroidery hoops. With feathers and guazey fabric. MAybe some origami flowers. That would be cool. That's due Thursday.
Um... think that's it... Better get back to it... I've got a bunch to be doing...

I live!!!!!
Ok so... this week was pretty intense. I shall start on Saturday...
Saturday - First day of work. I got to Jim Bob's, a local Christian owned chicken finger resatuarant, and worked from 4 to 9 bringing people their orders of chicken fingers, catfish, and hamburgers. Yes, it's fast food, so I've got to be on t he ball lol. I liked it, the girls were so sweet and I took to it all really quickly.
Sunday - Membership classes at Lakeview, church, then to Dave's house for the day to watch Lost and play zombie shooting games ^_^ Best days in the world.
Monday - Up at 5 to ride into work with Dad, catch the bus that stops close to his office and ride into campus. From the stop in the center of campus I walk to the northeast corner where my first class is in Biggin Hall where I'm told I will end up living. Drawing 101. Very nice ^_^ Thoguh I'm told the prof picks favorites. We shall see how well I do, but I think I'll be loving it. hour break once that class is over and then I head to English Composition, where the prof is professional, but funny. I like her a lot. After that, get dad to pick me up and drop me off at the chiropractor, I was in agony with my shoulder. Then back to work from 4 to 8. So tired, showered and collapsed in bed.
Tuesday - Up at 5 to ride into work with Dad and again ride the bus and go to Biggin, this time for Art History. This class is huge, 100 people, and the professor is very professional and sorta humorous... but I can't tell if he is funny or just kinda trying ot lighten the mood. He seems hard, but good. We shall see. 2 hour break before next class, find out that this class in pretty much not really on campus, and I grab some lunch and hop on the bus. Only get there 30 minutes early. 3D design course, professor is hillarious, I really like him. Also a hard class I think, but I'll learn SO much. He let us out an hour early that day, so I decided to see how long it took to walk back to central campus... 35 minutes. I'm suposed to get to next class in 15. Dern... Next class, I'm SO hot, but I live through World History. It's 3:00, I ride the bus to a friend's house, but it starts to rain as I walk up her street. Ugh. Hitch a ride to karate, then come back home after dinner with Dave at Arby's. So tired... shower, then bed.
Wednesday - Follow's Monday schedule, but I head back to Dad's office for lunch, then go look at bikes with him to solve the issue with getting to T/Th classes on time. Need one with quick release front tire so I can use the bike rack on the car we're looking at. Hmm. Problems. Come home before wed night church and do homework. Getting stressed, shower, bed.
Thursday - oh dear here we go again, I ride into work with Dad again, catch the bus, go to Biggin, ARt History. Do homework for my 2 hour break, now, then to Design. Design assigns a project, drat... it's not easy. I have to make a shoe out of nothing but wire. Not a solid shoe, but like a line drawing in 3D. And it's due by Thursday. I'm a little stressed but I should be able to handle this. I have a week lol. Dad picked me up from there and dropped me off close to my history class and I got there right on time, yay! I like this class a lot ^_^ Even if it may be hard for me, I still really like it. Took the bus to Della's crashed at her place after doing homework.
Friday - Slept in till 6!! Della took me to Biggin Hall, and I did my M/W/F classes, then took the bus back to her house to work. Dad called me to tell me I could go home whenever, so I got my stuff together and headed to his office, again courtesy of Della. When I got there he handed me the key to the Toyota Camry with the bike rack on it that a guy in his office sold him!! I have a car! Mom's left to go register it for me right now, I'm SO happy! Now, hopefully, I can get a bike, attach the bike to the car, park at Della's and bike a few blocks to Biggin and solve everything that way. Yay! Thanks Grandma Maher for the money, and Dad for getting it for me! I'm very, very happy with this all.
So, life is hectic, I am stressed, and tired all the time, but I'm getting my feet under me and I'll get a handle on this. I need prayers to continue doing well so I can keep my scholarships, but other than that, life is great.
Tomorrow - homework and goofing off until work at 4.
Sunday - church and Dave's house.
Monday - start it all over again.
Alright!
EDIT: And I just got my scholarship money left over for the semester refunded to me... I had $2200 sent to my bank account today...

I experienced my first full fledged migraine yesterday...
With all the research I've put into cluster headaches I've also learned a lot about migraines. Enough to be able to easily recognize them in other people lol. Unfortunately I didn't get the hint until about 7:30 last night.
( cut for whining )
I've never had any of that happen before... I get stress headaches, and I take medicine for them, but medicine didn't do anything for me last night. It was scary. I have a whole new level of respect for people with migraines and cluster headaches, now. It was not fun.
In other news, I was interviewed for a job at the theater here in town, didn't get a call back. I got a call from Jim Bob's chicken place, and I'll go interview with them on Monday.
Chiropractor going good, down to once every two weeks, my go down to once a month if I'm still doing good this next visit.
School starts the 17th, and I still don't have my books...
Tomorrow I'm going to go spend the day at Dave's again, and then at 4 leave to go to a party Daewen is having. Themed pirate party where dressing up is mandatory. I'll post pictures when I'm able lol.
Ok, getting off the computer now. I need to keep another headache from happening...

Doctor visits:
Eczema is a constant battle but it's going away finally. ^_^
Shoulder is doing MUCH better. I went to karate Tuesday night and it started hurting near the end of class but was better before I went to bed. Miracle!
I got my TB test taken and read, and apparently nothing's wrong with me on that count cause they let me go. Woot!
Women's Clinic: rescheduled once, got to the clinic and the doctor wasn't in, he was doign a surgery, so rescheduled again. I've rescheduled one more time so that I can have this Tuesday free.
Job situation:
I turned in an application to the local theater and the next day got a phone call from the assitant manager asking for an interview! Went in and answered his questioned, and I feel like I did pretty well. He said that he'd fax my info on the to general manager, so if I hear back from them on Thursday I'll have a follow up interview! I'm so excited lol... please pray I get this job, it's so hard without prior work experiance.
School:
Still don't have my Design class registered, I'm about to call AU and see how that's coming.
Bought basic school supplies, paper, pencils, pens, binders, ... Don't know anything specific I need, will call for that too.
Life in general:
Dad has decreed that no one in the house shall eat dinner until their rooms are clean and no one can go to bed until the common areas are clean. lol Guess this is a good thing.
mom and LilBit going ot the beach tomorrow for LilBit's birthday ^_^ Goblin is going too lol... Good luck. Dad's going to be at a Tres Dias meeting, so Davis is going to drive out here and pick me up to take me back to his house where I'll hang out with him and his family all day. Go back home that night to get ready for church. At church, the Bloodmobile is going ot be there all morning, so I'm going to see if they'll let me give blood. My first time, and I know I have iron issues so they may not. But I want to know my blood type lol. Then up at about 4:30 ish so I can leave at 5 monday morning to go to Davis' house to help out at the farm. I'm spending the night in the guest bedroom at their house on Monday so I can be there again Tuesday lol. Then to karate. Don't know if I'm going home between Davis' house and karate or not, we'll see when that gets there.
Wow... busy busy... And I'm not really busy O_o it just sounds like it...

Ok, so... since May:
I have gone to the beach with Davis and his parents, which was a LOT of fun ^_^ It may be sappy, but sitting on the beach at night listening to the waves and watching the crabs scuttle by while talking to my boy was just wonderful ^_^
I have not found a job. Stink.
My shoulder has acted up two more times, one of which actually spread across my upper back, and the other was while walking around Auburn campus at...
Camp War Eagle. A three day orientation/brainwashing at the end of which I registered for classes. I finally have my card that lets my check out books from the library and other cool things that only Auburn students can do. And I'm registered for 5 classes ^_^ Well, 4, really. Art History 1, Drawing 1, World History 1, English Comp 1, and I'm wait listed for Design 1, because they haven't hired a professor yet... When they get him, I'll be registered for that, I don't have to do anything. But anyway, that's exciting ^_^
So, I've also gone to the dermetologist twice for my eczema, and it's finally almost gone! Hallelujah!!
I've gone to a chiropractor about my shoulder because if it started hurting at camp war eagle without me having ot carry around a huge backpack... we have problems. Going back to him tomorrow for a follow up appointment.
Last, but not least, I'm going to Auburn University's clinic for a women's health appointment because I've never had one yet, and I'm 19... should get on that. And because there's anywhere between 30 and 50 days in between my periods. Not cool. Makes them hurt worse, and makes it hard to predict when I can go swimming lol. While I'm there for that, I need to get shots renewed so that I can go to school
Just going ot go ahead and take care of all the doctor visits I can lol. Any other ones that I can cram in here while I'm at it?
Tonight - karate, yay! Gotta take it easy on my shoulder again, thoguh. Doc did something to it that made it worse, rather than better.
Tomorrow - Davis is taking me out for dinner and a movie in honor of our official 2 year "anniversary." Exactly 2 years ago tomorrow the sweet boy told me that he was falling in love with me... I'm a sap, I'm sorry. The best part is, he was the one that suggested we go out to celebrate it lol. I love him ^_^
Alrighty... I think that's everything.

Right, here we go
April 19th, was a Sunday. We went to West Point, GA to practice civil war era dances with Nanci Hendrix. "We" being the RootBeer Club and me. We were practicing these dances because the next weekend was a historical thing going on at Ft. Tyler.
April 24th and 25th we were doing he histroy thing. On Friday we danced on the green in front of the fort for several hours. I wore a pretty lavender dress, and tehy talked me into wearing a corset. Problem is, we pinned my hoop skirt to my corset so it wouldn't slide down, then laced my corset up literally as hard as we could to keep the corset from sliding. By the end of the night I was almost crying because of something in my right shoulder getting messed up. Taht shoulder is still sore. Like a pinched nerve, or something. I can use it well enough, but I can still feel little twinges when I try to do too much with it. So not cool.
Saturday, I did not wear the corset. I wore a pretty green day dress and walked around with Davis just being a "civilian at the fort." So many people would stop and ask us questions and ask for pictures and such. SO fun ^_^ In the evening we had a candle lantern tour. I carried lanterns, but was not a tour guide, thankfully. Davis had to dress up in a Union uniform and do a little bit of talking in front of people, basically to show how the Yankee soldiers thought this battle was going to be cake. He did very well ^_^ I'm proud of him.
The next week we all dressed up in civil war ball gowns again, this time in a house near the fort. People were paying $75 a ticket as a fund raiser for the symphony, I think, to get in and see this old house and hear the story about it. After dinner, their entertainment was us, the Belle and Beux dancers (sorry, oropher, if I mangled the spelling on that one). We ddanced for about an hour, just going through all the dances we know. They really loved it, it was so cool ^_^
Completely unrelated, our church has renamed itself. We're now The City Church. Kinda odd name, but it fits, really. We're also remodeling. The media department hasn't bought anything in three years but two computers. So... we've completely revamped the media system, and the way the sanctuary looks. I'm told it doesn't look anything at all like what it used to. I'm excited. Unfortunately I won't get to see it this week.
Davis is graduating tomorrow! I'm so excited! He says nothing much will change with it, but I know things will start to be different for him soon. Starting out with his surprise gift. His parents are taking him and me down to the beach house their family owns in Panama City for about four days. I've been having to keep this from him for about three weeks... SO hard! I'm so excited about it ^_^ We're leaving Sunday morning at about 9, so... yay!!
Anyway... time to finish packing and hit the sack. Tomorrow is taking mom to Nissan place ot get grammy's car to take to her, then meet Dave at his church at 1 ish, then do the graduation ceremony, then reception, then party at a buddies' house until they kick us out. Then I spend the night with Daewen, Dave stays with Will, then Sunday morning Dave'll pick me up from Daewen's at 8, and we'll go to his house to meet his parents and from there we'll go to Panama city! Woot!
yeah... need sleep...
HAPPY!!!

Woot today I have called Auburn to ask how I'm supposed to register for classes. They told me that I will register on the last day of "Camp War Eagle" a mandatory fun week. Yay -_- So, I'll register for that when I get my letter in the mail. Yay, that's off my shoulders for now.
I also sent a note to Daewen asking if living with her is still an option.
And I'm still working on my song ^_^ Happy!
Today: I have nothing more to do except a logo for the Jr. High ministry at church. Mom's going to visit Grammy.
Tomorrow: may go to the doctor, I feel yucky. And Tae Kwon Do if it turns out to be just allergies as I suspect.

So, Friday I spent the night at Daewen's house, then Saturday the 14th we drove up to Kentucky to visit a friend. We spent a whole week there. Sunday we went to church and hung out.
Monday Squeaky had a job interview, and afterward we went out to Chuckie Cheese's for lunch, then to the theater to see the new Witch Mountain movie.
Tuesday we went hiking and it was just gorgeous. We went to see Gray's Arch and had to hike almost 2 miles to get there and eat lunch. To get there we had to climb up a trail that led up this natural ampitheater type of thing. I didn't realize how high up it was until i was three quarters of the way. I'm terrified of hights, too, so I got petrified when I realized. Dave wouldn't let me go back, though, so I can now say that I got all the way up to Gray's Arch ^_^ The whole hike was so pretty and so fun. Except for the last mile... I got a dehydration headache and both guys freaked and forced me to eat and drink and coold down and all sorts of stuff. I'm very touched, looking back on it. I think Dave would have carried me if I'd been much worse off, too. They did very well making sure I stayed well. I didn't puke or pass out. I'm proud lol.
Wednesday we were going to go dig up trees but we stayed at the house and goofed off instead. We watched movies and played games all day. And we walked around outside, and we saw the farm, and it was nice.
Thursday some people went to go dig up trees, but there weren't enough seats for everyone, so Dave and I stayed behind with some of the relatives of the girl we were visiting and playing frisbee. I also got a snippet of a song stuck in my head that I've never heard before. So, I'm now writting a song. Even though I'm not a music person. It's weird.
Friday we drove home, and it was sad, I'd had a lot of fun. And I spent that night with Daewen.
Saturday I got up at 11, and waited for mom to come get me, got home around 5 or 6.
Sunday went to Lakeview because I have an awful headache due to allergies, even thoguh I've been taking Zyrtec regularly. Dern.
Tomorrow I want to go to the Doctor, I've had a cough for three weeks. And I'm going to get started on registering for classes and such for college this week. Weird! But cool! ^_^
Woot... time for bed. I sleepy.

I know I promised myself I'd never read Twilight, but a friend of mine (40- something...) gave me a copy of the first one one Wednesday as a late birthday present, so I couldn't say no, right?
*chuckles* I have now read all four and am hooked. Glad I finished them, but I'm glad I read them. It was a very good story. Very. Sappy, yes. Romance, yes. Angst, oh my gosh, yes. But very impressive. Not "well written" really... about average. Easy to read. I read four books, all in one day each. I had a few days between book one and book two. But the story is rather captivating. Waht happens when you fall hopelessly in love with a vampire? This is about the best way I've ever heard of to describe what would happen. And the characters remain... real. Fairy tales, yes... but real. All in all, pretty amazing.
And what I liked the most: a perfect ending. Odd, but perfect. Unlike some people who are trying ot get away from classic fairy tale endings, I happen to like how everything played out for this one.
Now, no one freak, still. I'm not an Edward Cullen fan. His moods swings are too annoying. I do, however, really like his "sister" Alice. *grins* She's awesome.
So anyway... That's that lol

The idiot my avatar is talking about? Yeah, that's me.
So, I've been on the Daniel Fast for two weeks. Which means, no meat for two weeks. Meat is, I hear, a good source of iron. I know I get iron deficient on a regular basis so I take iron supplement pills once a day. Well... for most of this fast, I was taking care of my siblings while Mom was away, and I forgot to take my pills. For the past 4 days I've been taking one a day.
Yesterday I spent all day taking care of Davis, which is a lot more tiring than I thought it would be, to sit by a sick person and do waht little you can to make them just a little more comfortable. He noticed as soon as he started feeling better, I got exhausted. And I haven't gotten better since.
Went to bed at about 10 last night, got up at 5:30. that's 7 hours of sleep, I should be good to go. Simply could not get out of bed. When I finally could get up, at 6, I was still tired. Did church, which was slightly stressful because two of our leaders were out of town. And it went until one. Finally got home, I hate a huge bowl of beans and rice with some corn and salsa in it, then crashed at 2. Woke up at 5, thinking it was 6 lol. But 30 minutes later and I'm only just now starting to feel ersted finally. This isn't right. One more week of this Daniel Fast... I think I'm going up to two iron pills a day for that week. -_-
Oh, and, not only am I tired all the time, I'm cold all the time, too.
*sigh*
Ok, done whining.

Today was an interesting day.
Got to Davis' house at a quarter to 11 and talked to his mom until he stumbled into the living room at about 20 after. Poor thing was all but convulsing his fever was so bad. Said he didn't want more medicine, though, but he was shaking so hard he could barely drink the strawberry milk he likes. So, I took his temperature, which was 104.8... no wonder he's been feeling so bad. I demanded the boy take medicine and by the time I left today his temperature had gone down to 98.6... whew. He had me a little worried for a few hours today, though. So hot, and shaking so bad.
I think he's on the mend now. He was almost back to normal by around 4 ish and generally stayed there until 8, when I left. Hopefully he showered and went straight to bed instead of waiting to hear if I got home safe.
Pray I don't catch what he had... even though it would be wonderful to have him over to pamper me like he promised to pay me back, I'd rather not have a fever of nearly 105.
I was glad I got to go, thoguh.... there's something comforting in the fact that I got to go be there with him as he felt bad. All my stress and worry went away, caring for him. I had energy until he started feeling better lol. It's also nice that he allowed me to be close to him...
I know, how corny that I can find things to be happy about when my boy gets sick lol... But I am glad I got to be there for him

Daddy was driving the Lexus the other day and mentioned the fact that the heater and radio panel right there just turned off. So, today when I went to the store before heading to Davis' house, I noticed a fuse on the floor. I thought, Well, duh, that would do it. So I went to the autoparts store and bought a new fuse.
Turns out the fuse that was on the floor was the one for the heated seats so we just left that one out and pulled out the one for that instrument panel... replaced it, and nothing changed. Dern.
So... I came in, ate breakfast, and now have to get my make up on and run out the door lol.
My Davis is sick, I'm going to go help his mom take care of him.

Actually, no.
So, I got to Daewen's house last night at 6 dressed up in a black formal gown with my hair up. My name is Hilary Strutbury. All my other friends are there as well, dressed up and in character. One guy is Irish lol. We get given pamphlets that explain our character and how we act and there are "rounds" that we read at certain times in the "story." I hadn't known but this is really a play or a book or something lol.So, we don't know what our own characters have to say in later times of the game even lol. Davis was a stock broker. Supposedly loud and obnoxious. Poor thing had a cold so he didn't do loud very well, but he played the part even so. I was proud of him ^_^
Anyway, so we're all at dinner, Me, my "mom" (Daewen), the cook who had the day off (Joel, being Irish lol), A Reverend (scott), my mulit-millionare nephew (Davis), my Paris Hilton style neice (Joel's sister-in-law), and the gardener (Will.) Over the course of dinner, we each ask questions, some of them outlined in the book. We find out things about each other. Lady Strutbury is a bully. The cook is a gossip. The Reverend isn't really a REverend. The gardener is Lord Strutbury's older brother and really in love with Lady Strutbury. I'm a repressed youngest daughter. Davis was really the only one who didn't reveal much about himself lol. Shallow character. My neice had a reputation for getting drunk at bars. And we're supposed to find out who killed my father.
Not Colonel Mustard.
My neice, Victoria, killed him because she believed he had loved her so much that he'd leave her all of his money and she'd have a way to sustain her addiction to alcohol and drugs. Everyone else had motive lol. The cook had been bad mouthed so long by the Lord, but them always had been, nothing new. The Gardener loved the Lord's wife, but had for 50 years and not done a thing. The Lady had hated him for 50 years, but had never been strong enough to do anything about it. I was a submissive, apologetic little thing, who wouldn't dream of killing anyone. Davis was a millionare and didn't need any extra money. He was just happy he was an Earl now. The Reverend could have because the Lord had begun to pick up on the scam, and I never knew why he wouldn't. But my neice needed the money. He didn't leave her any, he gave all his money to a football club lol.
So, that was really fun ^_^ I'm glad Daewen put that together for me, it was too cool.

Well here's a completely unforseen, but good post lol
I got a call today at about 1:00 from Daewen telling me to get a package from my mom.
O_o
Ok...
So I find mom, and she has a green package for me. Inside is a pretty little wolf charm for my charm bracelet and a card that says "Murder at Aldbury Manor. It tells me not to get ready for Tae Kwon Do, but rather to dress in a formal dress and come to Della's house; aka, Aldbury Manor. I am apparently Hilary Strutbury, daughter of the deceased Lord Strutbury. 40-something, demure, librarian. So... That's all I know O_o
Oh, and the fact that this is all a surprise for me, and it was precarious all day due to Dave being sick. He's taking lots of medicine, so he says he's feeling fine and everything can go on. Sweet boy... He should be resting, instead he's going ot come to a party for me.
So. Off to get ready and see what I can do with my hair, being that it's too short for a bun lol

Ok, so... The economy stinks. Majorly stinks.
I know America is set up for a two person income for most families. But now that the economy is going to pot, things are getting even harder to handle.
We just bounced a few checks. Again. This has been happening more frequently recently, for what I can tell. We've cut back on, like, everything. We have no cable, no magazine subscriptions, no game subscriptions. We don't buy games or movies on a regular basis. We don't even go out to eat on a regular basis. We minimize the number of car trips we need to make to save on gas. We try to get the cheaper brands of food when we shop for groceries. We wait until things have completely run out before we buy more. Our house payments are cheaper than an apartment in Auburn. Basically the only thing we pay for that isn't necessary is internet. Which means at the family meeting that Dad's called for tonight, what's gonna get cut out?
Internet.
That's the only way I communicate with people outside of my house... We have to pay long distance when we call basically anyone, so I don't use the phone at all. I hate how long the post office take to send letters, especially when Daewen plans things two days before they're supposed to happen. And I have T-Mobile, where all my friends have Verizon, so it costs to talk to anyone! I'm going ot be completely cut off from all my friends...! No more LiveJournal, no more Facebook, no more Chat. *sniffs*
I'm bummed.
Maybe I can get a job to pay for the internet myself... Maybe. That'll be an act of God.
*sigh* I'm really beginning to hate this new year.

Maybe I can get a job to pay for the internet myself... Maybe. That'll be an act of God.
*sigh* I'm really beginning to hate this new year.

So, I woke up the other night to a squirrel scratching at my ceiling for a half hour, and was tempted to get the 9mm and just offer to patch my ceiling later. Daddy bought a squirrel trap instead.
Phase one: We have smeared peanut butter on the trip-plate of the trap and waited two or three days. Nothing.
Phase two: after noticing a hole in my ceiling that wasn't there an hour ago, we researched a bit and decided to put a lamp up beside the trap.
More updates as the saga continues.

I think we may have our internet back for good!
But in order to explain that one, I'm going to go a little further back...
Sunday, I got a call from Daewen telling me that she was planning a group get together at Davis' house on Tuesday, the 23rd, and that she'd be by at about 4 to pick me up. At 3:30 she called to tell me she was on her way, and, half an hour later, I hear someone knock on the door. It's Davis. With roses. *grins* He'd been planning this for two weeks. He got his Mom and Dad's permission, my Mom and Dad's permission (he actually called my Dad ^_^), got Daewen to call me two days before hand to make sure I was ready to go on time, got Daewen to call me when he was on his way, then showed up with two roses in a vase with evergreen sprigs. Then he took me to Provino's! Ooh! That's my favorite restaurant here in town ^_^ After that we went to Best Buy and bought a new router for my family, and that's why internet is back. Then he took me to Kohl's and helped me pick out a pair of jeans. I now have two pairs of jeans lol.
Anyway, that was our first un-chaperoned date ^_^ I'm happy.
My room smells like Christmas trees, too ^_^
